David is the founder of Number Eight Business Finance. 

With over 35 years experience in this marketplace, he is highly regarded in his field. He has vast experience as a lender, business owner and business finance advisor. He is therefore well placed, and has the required empathy, to work with all parties involved in the raising of finance. 

David has a high success rate in securing finance for businesses. He is driven by a passion to help ensure that every business owner is aware of the best-fit business finance options that are available to them.

Trevor has experienced a varied and interesting career over nearly 40 years working in the business finance sector.

His career commenced as an area manager working for the finance house subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland from which he went on to help build what became the UK’s largest IT finance broker.

He spent 10 years working in recruitment in the sector before a spell as an independent asset finance broker.

His last role was as part of the senior management team that successfully sold their provincial finance business to a merchant bank in 2020.

He now operates as an independent consultant advising lenders, brokers and software companies across the UK.

Random Fact:  Trevor learnt to play the cornet and trumpet at the age of 7.  He performed at numerous venues around the south and notably at The Royal Albert Hall. 

He says those experiences turned him into a great kisser!
